Hi fellow crochet pals! My name is Jadrian and I'm the owner of Knot Jaded Co. I am so excited to share my crochet business journey with you all and talk about all things crochet. There have been so many new crochet businesses on Instagram and TikTok (including myself). I see so many questions that I want to tackle these topics as openly as I can with you.
However, I am no expert! We'll be going through this journey together. Getting over my inner critic is still something I'm working through, so it may get messy! Instead of waiting until I get everything perfect, I decided to just START. This will be a learning experience for all of us.
What kind of other blogs will be covered? I've had some success with my Leggy Froggy Patterns, so pattern-writing may be one of the first topics I'll cover. I've been setting up at farmers markets and vendor craft fairs, so those are sure to follow.
I want to share with you my own business updates, goals and progress. There's so many facets I am curious about and I'm sure I'm not the only one. What about teaching crochet classes- in person or online? How about hosting a virtual crochet circle? Would a podcast be beneficial to me and my listeners? What goes into writing and publishing a crochet pattern book?! And writing a blog? How do I start an email list? How do I keep my followers engaged on Instagram? Which social media outlets would be most beneficial? Other crochet-related topics we can cover: how do you overcome a creative block? I'd also love to share tips and tricks to improve your crochet skills!
Since I am no expert in so many ways in the crochet industry, I'm going to interview your favorite crocheters! I look up to so many crocheters and makers that I would love to collaborate and share their tips and views on how they are killing it in their field.
